A Tragic Night in Southeast D.C.

On the early morning of Saturday, June 22, 2013, the tranquility of Washington, D.C.'s 1300 block of Stevens Road, SE, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 2:06 a.m., 35-year-old Malika Stover was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the prompt response of emergency services, her life could not be saved.
