Miguel Escobar Jr., a 22-year-old with a passion for automobiles, worked alongside his father at their family-owned auto shop in Houston. Known for his dedication and close bond with his family, especially his father, Miguel's future seemed bright. However, on the night of September 9, 2006, his life was tragically cut short in an event that has since remained an unresolved mystery.

The Fateful Night

On that ill-fated evening, Miguel was outside his home on Larry Street in north Houston. Witnesses reported seeing four Hispanic men in a maroon truck loitering near the residence moments before the incident. In what appeared to be a brazen carjacking, these individuals confronted Miguel, fatally shooting him before fleeing the scene with his cherished Chevy Tahoe.
