A Violent Intrusion

On the evening of December 21, 2015, the tranquility of a Jacksonville, Florida, neighborhood was shattered by a violent home invasion. An unknown assailant forcefully entered the residence of 67-year-old Anatoliy Glavnik on Skycrest Drive, near Windy Hill Elementary School. The intruder kicked in the front door, confronting Glavnik, his daughter, and his grandson in a terrifying encounter that would end in tragedy.

A Demand for Pills and Money

Once inside, the masked intruder demanded pills and money from the family. An argument ensued, during which the assailant brandished a handgun and fatally shot Glavnik in front of his horrified family members.
