The Day Marcus Disappeared

On December 6, 1991, five-month-old Marcus Antonio Farina vanished from Hollywood, California. His father, Sergio Farina, had picked him up from his estranged wife Patricia Rose's home, claiming he was taking Marcus to a pediatrician appointment. When Sergio failed to return, Patricia went to his apartment and found it empty. A chilling note was left behind, reading: “Ha! Ha! Ha! You’ll never find us. Merry Christmas!” 

The Abductor: Sergio Farina

Sergio Farina, born December 14, 1957, is a Uruguayan national described as Hispanic, standing between 5'10" and 5'11", weighing between 165 and 185 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Sergio holds a college degree in astronomy and has pursued various occupations, including acting and trading in precious gems. He is also known to have an interest in exotic plants. At the time of the abduction, he was 33 years old. 

Legal Actions and Warrants

A felony warrant for kidnapping was issued for Sergio on December 12, 1991. Subsequently, on October 27, 1993, the FBI issued a warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. These legal actions underscore the seriousness of the case and the ongoing efforts to locate both Sergio and Marcus. 
