A Tragic Morning in North Lawndale

In the early hours of April 17, 2016, the North Lawndale neighborhood on Chicago's West Side was shaken by the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Fredrick Lee Blount. Residents awoke to the sound of gunfire, and a woman was seen wailing from her third-story apartment window as she looked down upon the crime scene below.
