On the evening of April 25, 2015, 21-year-old Jamell Tousant Jr. was fatally shot in the 1400 block of 90th Avenue in Oakland, California. A Father's Grief Turns to Vigilantism

In the wake of his son's death, Jamell Tousant Sr. was overwhelmed with grief and a desire for justice. Believing that members of the Berkeley-based Five Finga Mafia gang were responsible for his son's murder, Tousant Sr. conducted his own investigation.
