Introduction: The Unsettling Crime in Hidden Valley

On May 28, 2018, the tranquil community of Hidden Valley near Lawrenceburg, Indiana, was shaken by the discovery of a heinous crime. Thomas "Big Tom" Biedenharn, a 73-year-old beloved resident, was found dead in his Highridge Court home. The Indiana State Police quickly determined that his death was a result of foul play, marking the beginning of an unsolved murder case that continues to perplex investigators and haunt the community. 

Born in 1944, Tom Biedenharn made a significant impact both on and off the basketball court. Standing at 6 feet 7 inches, he was a formidable presence for Elder High School's basketball team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a junior center during the 1960-61 season, he led his team to an undefeated regular season, earning them the number one ranking in the state. His remarkable skills on the court earned him a place at the University of Cincinnati, where he continued to excel in basketball. 
