The Tragic Incident

On the evening of March 22, 2004, at approximately 6:30 pm, officers from the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a reported shooting at 2837 Robinson Place, SE, Washington, D.C. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Michael Antonio Smith lying in the hallway of the building, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck. Despite immediate medical attention, Michael succumbed to his injuries on March 26, 2004, at approximately 6:40 am.
