Early Life and Aspirations

Born on January 12, 1989, Katsina was a native of East Denver. She was known for her kind heart and sweet smile, attributes that endeared her to a large extended family, including her two younger sisters, whom she helped raise. At the time of her death, Katsina was attending the Metropolitan State College of Denver, harboring hopes for a bright future.
