Discovery of the Tragedy

On February 15, 2018, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a distressing call at an apartment complex located at 1215 Heafer Road, near Berrytown Park in Louisville's east end. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of 28-year-old Isaiah Snoddy in his second-floor apartment. Evidence suggested that Snoddy had been fatally shot several days prior to being found. 

Community's Growing Concern

Neighbors became alarmed when they noticed an accumulation of mail outside Snoddy's apartment and a lack of activity from within. Victoria Cox, a resident of the complex, recounted the unsettling scene of police and the coroner's office in the parking lot, stating, "My God, it was terrifying, it really was."
