Tragic Loss in Phoenix Hill Neighborhood

On the night of October 12, 2016, the Phoenix Hill neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the fatal shooting of 41-year-old Delwan Lamonte Booker. The incident occurred in the 800 block of East Chestnut Street, where neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots. Responding officers discovered Booker's lifeless body between two buildings, marking the city's 91st homicide of that year. 
