A Promising Future Cut Short
Rochelle Kenana Stubblefield was a 20-year-old student at Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting, Indiana, studying criminal justice with aspirations of a career in law enforcement. An active member of her college's track team and a graduate of Portage High School, Rochelle was known for her dedication and ambition. At the time of her disappearance, she was eight and a half months pregnant, eagerly anticipating the birth of her son, whom she planned to name Amir Dashaun Thomas Stubblefield, due on December 15, 2015.
The Day Rochelle Vanished
On November 10, 2015, after attending classes and a basketball game with friends, Rochelle left campus and was never seen again. Her sudden disappearance raised immediate concern among her family and friends, especially given her advanced pregnancy.
