A Tragic Discovery

On the morning of July 25, 2004, the Louanlavong family faced an unimaginable tragedy. Khamphosey "Kim" Louanlavong, a 32-year-old mother, was found deceased in her apartment located at 2409 Nottingham Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas. Her residence was situated at the rear of her family's property, providing her with a sense of privacy while remaining close to her loved ones. The day prior, Kim had been seen by her family, making the discovery of her body all the more shocking. Authorities later confirmed that she had been fatally shot.

A Life Remembered

Born on March 6, 1972, in Laos, Kim immigrated to the United States, where she built a life centered around her family. Described as a loving mother, she was devoted to her son, Tommy Nounthavykoun. Her parents, Tommy and Kathy Louanlavong, along with her siblings—sister Thavi and brothers Khamphoumy and Robert—were integral parts of her close-knit family.
