Amid the festivities, gunfire erupted, claiming the lives of 22-year-old Terrence "TMack" McCrary Jr. and 20-year-old Craig Fletcher-Cooks. Both were alumni of Berkeley High School, remembered fondly by their communities. McCrary, an innocent bystander, was struck by a stray bullet, ending a life filled with promise and creativity. He was a dedicated artist and a familiar face at the Berkeley Skate Park, where a memorial plaque now honors his memory.

The Fateful Night

The event at Prime Development drew hundreds of attendees, transforming a typical night into a bustling gathering. However, the atmosphere soured when a group of young men harassed a woman, pressuring her to dance. Her boyfriend, Fletcher-Cooks, intervened, leading to a violent altercation.
