A Festive Gathering Turns Tragic

On the evening of October 29, 2016, a Halloween party was underway at a multifamily residence located at 4335 N. Columbine Street in Denver, Colorado. The event, intended to be a joyful celebration, was attended by numerous guests, including 27-year-old Orlando Jackson. As festivities continued into the night, the atmosphere was abruptly shattered by an unforeseen act of violence.

The Violent Outburst

Shortly before midnight, the Denver Police Department received reports of a shooting at the party location. Upon arrival, officers discovered three individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds. Orlando Jackson was among the victims, suffering from severe injuries. Despite being rushed to Denver Health Medical Center, Jackson succumbed to his wounds, as confirmed by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
