The Fateful Night

On the early morning of Saturday, July 16, 2005, at approximately 3:00 am, 24-year-old Esayas Melacku Gebeyhu was assaulted in the 1900 block of 12th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. The circumstances surrounding the attack remain unclear, and the assailant or assailants have not been identified.

Immediate Aftermath
