A Night of Violence in San Bernardino

On the night of July 9, 2014, the city of San Bernardino was once again shaken by violence. At approximately 11:30 p.m., 27-year-old Juan Carlos Villapudua was fatally shot in the parking lot of a strip mall located in the 2800 block of West Rialto Avenue. This incident marked the fourth homicide in the city within a span of five days, highlighting a disturbing surge in local violence.

The Fatal Encounter

According to police reports, Villapudua approached a newer model white car, possibly a Nissan, in the strip mall's parking lot.
