On the evening of December 18, 2008, the community of Pinellas Park, Florida, was shaken by a tragic event that claimed the life of 16-year-old Jeremy Long. Jeremy, a student at Richard L. Sanders School, was found in his bedroom at his residence on 81st Avenue North, suffering from a gunshot wound. In the wake of Jeremy's death, the Pinellas Park Police Department launched an intensive investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
