Discovery of a Life Cut Short

On the early morning of June 8, 1991, a routine walk turned into a harrowing discovery for a local resident in San Diego's Clairemont neighborhood. As he passed by the North Clairemont Friendship Senior Center, located at 4425 Bannock Avenue, he stumbled upon the lifeless body of 29-year-old Lori Ann Mooney. Responding officers from the San Diego Police Department soon arrived at the scene and determined that Lori had been fatally shot once in the head.

A Familiar Face in Clairemont
