A Fateful Evening

On the evening of January 18, 1989, a sense of normalcy enveloped the neighborhood of 128 NE 13th Ave in Boynton Beach, Florida. Amidst the routine hum of daily life, 27-year-old Bruce Crump, accompanied by his fiancée and sister-in-law, was making his way to their car. As the trio approached their vehicle, a maroon Jeep with tinted windows and a dark interior suddenly appeared. From this vehicle, three to four men emerged, brandishing firearms.
