A Promising Life Cut Short

In the early hours of September 28, 2014, the life of 26-year-old Guillermo Iturralde was tragically ended in a senseless act of violence. Born on February 19, 1988, in Torrance, California, Guillermo resided in West Covina at the time of his death. Described by family and friends as a devoted father and a kind-hearted individual, his untimely passing left a void in the lives of those who knew him.

The Fateful Incident

At approximately 1:25 a.m., Long Beach Police Department officers responded to reports of gunshots near the intersection of 11th Street and Walnut Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Guillermo lying on the street, having sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body. Paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene.
