The Fateful Incident
In the early hours of Saturday, October 14, 2005, a tragic event unfolded at the intersection of 18th and Savannah Streets SE in Washington, D.C. At approximately 1:30 a.m., William Cureton and William Souder were fatally shot, their lives abruptly ended in a violent act that sent shockwaves through the community. Despite the passage of time, the circumstances surrounding their deaths remain shrouded in mystery, with no arrests made and the case still unsolved.
Remembering William Cureton
Known affectionately as "Snoop," William A. Cureton was a young man whose untimely death left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his devoted parents, William A. and Wanda Hall; his sister, Kwanza; two brothers, Quartez and Jeremiah Hall; and his paternal grandmother, Virginia Hall. His family and loved ones gathered to honor his memory during services held on Friday, October 21, 2005, at the Holy Temple Church of Christ in Southeast Washington.
