Kenneth Dewayne Williams was a 20-year-old African‑American man living in Memphis, Tennessee, in late October 2008. Standing about 5'7" and weighing around 145 pounds, he had black hair and brown eyes. At the time, he was residing with his girlfriend in the northeast section of Memphis, near the intersection of Jackson and National.
