A Troubled Past: The Criminal History of Raymond Warmuth

Raymond C. Warmuth, a 70-year-old man from Utica, New York, has a criminal history that dates back to the early 2000s. In 2003, he was convicted of attempted rape in the first degree involving a 14-year-old female victim. The offense, which occurred in 2002, led to a 12-year state prison sentence. Warmuth was designated as a Level 3 sex offender, indicating a high risk of reoffense, and was classified as a sexually violent offender. 

As part of his post-release obligations, Warmuth was required to verify his address every 90 days. However, on June 5, 2024, he was arrested in Oneida County for failing to comply with this requirement.
