A Quiet Morning Turned Tragic

On February 18, 1994, Anthony Hall, a 31-year-old resident of Akiak, Alaska, set out on what should have been a routine drive across the frozen Kuskokwim River. In rural Alaska, using frozen rivers as winter roads is common, especially in remote communities like Akiak. However, that morning, tragedy struck when Hall's vehicle broke through the ice and plunged into the frigid waters below. Searchers later located his car upside down in open water, but Hall himself was never found. 

The Man Behind the Name

Anthony Hall was a Native Alaskan man, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, he had black hair and brown eyes. As a member of the tight-knit community of Akiak, Hall's sudden disappearance sent shockwaves through the town.
