A Quiet Evening Turns Into a Mystery

On the evening of September 13, 2024, 41-year-old John Wayne Bolinger left a residence on Mud Hollow Road in Speedwell, Tennessee, and walked into a nearby wooded mountain area. Since that moment, he has not been seen or heard from. His disappearance has raised concerns among family and authorities, as he has a history of mental health challenges and is believed to be without his necessary medication. 

The Man Behind the Name

John Bolinger is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 230 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a camouflage shirt and blue jeans. Those who know him describe him as a private individual who enjoys spending time outdoors. His family is extremely concerned for his well-being. 

The Search Efforts

Following his disappearance, the Claiborne County Sheriff's Department initiated a search operation. Despite extensive efforts, including ground searches and community involvement, no trace of John has been found. The challenging terrain of the wooded mountain area has made search efforts difficult.
