A Life Interrupted: The Disappearance of Shacaiah 'Blue' Harding

On July 23, 2018, 19-year-old Shacaiah Blue Harding was last seen walking along Buena Vista Drive in Billings, Montana. Known affectionately as "Blue," Shacaiah was a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe and had been navigating a challenging period in her life, marked by struggles with addiction and mental health issues. Despite these challenges, she maintained contact with her family and frequented the Tumbleweed Runaway Center, a facility offering support to homeless and runaway youth. 

Delayed Alarm: The Missing Person Report

It wasn't until August 20, 2018, nearly a month after her last sighting, that Shacaiah's mother, Tamera Goldsmith, reported her missing. The delay was attributed to Shacaiah's intermittent living situation and her use of the Tumbleweed Runaway Center, which made her absences seem less alarming initially.
