On August 12, 2023, 66-year-old Jerry Artis, Sr. was last seen in the area of Creek Pointe Trail in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Known to frequent downtown Fayetteville, particularly near Festival Park and Dick Street, his sudden disappearance raised immediate concern among family and friends. Adding to the urgency, Artis had medical conditions requiring regular attention, making his absence all the more alarming. Authorities described him as a Black man, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with salt-and-pepper short hair and brown eyes.
