Amy was last observed around 6:30 PM on June 7, 2007, at the ShopRite Shopping Center near US Highway 130 and Town Center Road in East Windsor Township. She was accompanied by her boyfriend, Rosario "Roy" Digirolamo, and their 11-month-old son during this sighting. 

Discovery of Abandoned Child

On June 9, 2007, just two days after Amy's disappearance, her infant son was found abandoned in the parking lot of Christiana Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. This alarming discovery prompted immediate concern for Amy's safety and well-being. 

Investigation and Initial Findings

Authorities swiftly launched an investigation into Amy's disappearance. They discovered that many of her personal belongings, including identification cards and essential items for her child, were left behind in her apartment at 108 Mercer Street in Hightstown, New Jersey.
