A Routine Journey Turns Mysterious

On December 2, 2023, at approximately 4:00 PM, Brian Erickson, a 40-year-old resident of Healy Lake, Alaska, embarked on what was intended to be a routine trip. He departed from the village on a green, open-cab Polaris Ranger side-by-side vehicle, heading towards the Healy Lake Winter Road access point. The following day, December 3, at 1:30 PM, the Alaska State Troopers received a distressing report regarding Erickson's unexplained absence.
