Edward Don Hawkins, affectionately known as Don or Donnie, was born on January 18, 1940. At the time of his disappearance, he was 63 years old, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 165 pounds. He had graying black hair and brown eyes, with a distinctive surgical scar on his left leg and a mole on the top of his left hand near the thumb.
