Born on January 4, 1919, John C. Butler was a Caucasian male who stood between 5'8" and 5'11" tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds. He had brown hair and blue eyes. Notably, Butler was missing his right finger and had distinctive scars on his back, left finger, neck, and upper left arm. 

The Day of Disappearance

On April 23, 1980, at the age of 61, Butler reportedly walked away from his family residence in Gering. Since that day, there have been no confirmed sightings or communications from him. 
