Introduction to the Case

On July 13, 2006, the small town of Timpson, Texas, became the epicenter of a perplexing mystery that remains unsolved to this day. Cole Duane Jackson, a 33-year-old resident, vanished under circumstances that have left both investigators and his loved ones searching for answers. Jackson was last observed near the intersection of FM 1645 and CR 4230, just south of Timpson. In a bizarre sequence of events, he drove his silver 2003 Dodge half-ton pickup truck through a private pasture, colliding with a fence. Upon encountering the elderly landowner, Jackson apologized for the damage and offered $120 for repairs. He then cryptically stated that he needed to flee from "bad people" who were pursuing him.
