Early Life and Background

Amy Lynn Bradley was born on May 12, 1974, in Petersburg, Virginia. She grew up in Chesterfield County and attended Longwood University, where she earned a degree in Physical Education. Amy was an accomplished athlete, having received a basketball scholarship, and was known for her strong swimming abilities. Prior to her disappearance, she had plans to start a new job at a computer consulting firm.

The Ill-Fated Cruise

In March 1998, Amy joined her parents, Ron and Iva, and her brother, Brad, on a Caribbean cruise aboard Royal Caribbean International's Rhapsody of the Seas.
