Before her disappearance, Brooke had several encounters with law enforcement in California. On June 6, 2021, she was arrested in Palmdale for bringing a controlled substance into prison. Later, on April 10, 2022, she faced charges in Ventura County for bringing alcohol or drugs into prison. Additionally, on April 24, 2022, she was arrested in Los Angeles County for possession of a controlled substance, failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her most recent known arrest occurred on February 28, 2025, for shoplifting in Los Angeles County.
