A Life Cut Short
In the early hours of May 17, 2017, 34-year-old Imer Eliu Alvarado was fatally shot near the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Fourth Street in Fresno, California. Surveillance footage captured a brief altercation between Alvarado and an unidentified male assailant, culminating in multiple gunshots that left Alvarado lying motionless on the pavement. Despite several vehicles and a bicyclist passing by, no one stopped to assist or called 911. Alvarado was eventually transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead approximately 30 minutes later.
Identity and Misrepresentation
