A Life Cut Short

In the early hours of May 17, 2017, 34-year-old Imer Eliu Alvarado was fatally shot near the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Fourth Street in Fresno, California. Surveillance footage captured a brief altercation between Alvarado and an unidentified male assailant, culminating in multiple gunshots that left Alvarado lying motionless on the pavement. Despite several vehicles and a bicyclist passing by, no one stopped to assist or called 911.
