A Promising Morning Turns Tragic

On the morning of August 18, 1983, 27-year-old Mary Elizabeth Till departed her Arlington apartment around 9 a.m., intending to commute to her job at a Dallas law firm. Her routine included a stop for gas at a convenience store near State Highway 360 and Green Oaks Boulevard. However, Mary never arrived at her workplace that day, setting off immediate concern among her colleagues and family.
