Introduction

On September 17, 2019, the city of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the tragic death of 25-year-old Troy Dawon Todd Jr. His life was abruptly ended in a violent incident that remains unsolved, leaving a void in his family and community.

The Incident

On that fateful evening, around 7:20 p.m., Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) officers responded to reports of a vehicle crash in the 3100 block of River Park Drive, located in the Russell neighborhood.
