A Routine Saturday Morning

Sharon Christine Anderson, affectionately known as "Shari," began her Saturday, December 2, 2000, with familiar plans. At 9:00 a.m., she kissed her husband goodbye and left their Stanwood, Washington, home, intending to run errands and embark on Christmas shopping at the Everett Mall. The Unsettling Discovery

When Sharon did not return home as scheduled, concern quickly mounted. Her husband awoke from a nap around 5:30 p.m. to find she was not home and had not called. He contacted Sharon's best friend, Mary Rehberg, to see if she had any information.
