Background

William "Bill" Joseph Jamison was born on April 29, 1947, in Glenside, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. He was one of ten children in the Jamison family. Jamison graduated from Temple University in 1969 with a degree in accounting. A decorated Vietnam War veteran, he served as a helicopter pilot in the early 1970s. After his military service, he pursued a career in hotel management in Pennsylvania before transitioning to a role in the die-casting industry.
