In the early hours of Sunday, March 29, 2015, downtown Oakland's vibrant nightlife was marred by a senseless act of violence. After leaving a local club, 34-year-old Ali Rasheed Reese, a resident of Concord, was fatally shot on the 500 block of 10th Street.
