A Community in Shock

On September 13, 2015, the Auburn-Gresham neighborhood of Chicago was shaken by the tragic death of Ashton M. Simpson, a 36-year-old father of three. Simpson was fatally shot just nine houses away from his residence in the 8300-block of South Wood Street.
