A Tragic Night in Long Beach

In the early hours of March 19, 2016, the Long Beach Police Department received reports of gunshots in the 2300 block of Cameron Street. Upon arrival at approximately 2:25 a.m., officers discovered 30-year-old Christopher Delatorre lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Despite prompt response, Delatorre was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities immediately began investigating the incident, which was suspected to be gang-related.

Born on January 8, 1986, in Los Angeles County, Christopher Manuel Delatorre was a resident of Long Beach at the time of his untimely death. He was laid to rest at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
