A Promising Life Cut Short

On April 29, 2014, the city of Indianapolis was shaken by the tragic death of 19-year-old Cortez Demone Moton. Born on April 21, 1995, Cortez was a young man with aspirations and dreams, much like his peers. He was the beloved son of Shundra Moton and Robert Kendrick Jr., and a brother to Diamond Kendrick, Aariona Moton, and Aaliyah Albert. His untimely death left a void in the hearts of his family and the community. 
