A Promising Life Cut Short

On October 5, 2013, the vibrant life of 19-year-old Cory L. Atwater was tragically ended by gun violence in Chicago's West Pullman neighborhood. Described as a young man who was "very funny [and] loved life," Cory's untimely death left a void in the hearts of those who knew him. 
