A Life Cut Short

In the early hours of November 6, 2016, tragedy struck the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. At approximately 12:45 a.m., 54-year-old Cynthia D. Richardson was discovered lifeless on the lawn of a residence in the 5900 block of South Winchester Avenue. She had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly thereafter. Richardson resided in the 2100 block of West 63rd Street, not far from where her body was found.
