On July 30, 2017, the city of Indianapolis awoke to a series of violent incidents that left the community in shock. Among these was the tragic death of 35-year-old Erodney Davis, whose murder remains unsolved to this day. At approximately 3:45 a.m., officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a call at The Villas apartment complex on the north side of the city.
