A Promising Life Cut Short

On March 4, 1994, Gino Martin Carrasco, affectionately known as "G-Money" to his friends and family, was born. Gino was a young man full of potential and dreams, residing in the 5100 block of South Sawyer in Chicago, Illinois. His life, however, met a tragic and untimely end on April 23, 2016, at the age of 22. This devastating event has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.๎ˆ†

The Fateful Night

In the early hours of April 23, 2016, Gino visited a local store in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood. As he exited the establishment around 1:14 a.m., an unidentified individual emerged from a vehicle and opened fire. Gino sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
