On July 14, 2017, the city of Chicago was shaken by the tragic death of 25-year-old Gregory Williams Jr. Known for his quiet demeanor, intelligence, and hardworking nature, Gregory was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He attended Kerry Elementary and Kenwood Academy, and was employed as a cook at Smash Burger. His untimely death left a void in the hearts of those who knew him.

The Circumstances Surrounding His Death

Gregory was found shot to death in a vehicle in the Chatham neighborhood of Chicago. Despite the efforts of law enforcement, his murder remains unsolved.
