On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 20, 1995, a group of juveniles riding their bicycles through a wooded area near 815 N. 14th Street in Leesburg, Florida, stumbled upon a grim sight. They discovered the lifeless body of a white male lying on a mattress, with dried blood evident around his head. Alarmed by their discovery, they promptly notified the authorities.
